Glock 19
Glock 19 debuted in 1988. The famous “plastic pistol” has been a hit with both private owners and law enforcement agencies. The arrival of the fourth-generation Glock 19 gen 5 emphasizes function first. The fourth-generation Glock 19 gen 3 guns differed from their previous third generation.
Gen 3 Glock19 changes
The interchangeable rear straps and a new grip texture were probably the most significant change. Also, there was a change to the magazine release button. This made it possible to swap between the left side of the frame and the right side. Along the same lines, left-handed shooters have the same reload experience as right-handed shooters.
However, to maintain compatibility with the magazine release, the magazine itself had to modify slightly. That is, the magazine had a cutout on both sides to allow it to snap into place.
You can effortlessly see the distinction between the earlier (left) and later (right) magazines in this image.
To help control recoil on larger caliber pistols, Glock decided to improve the recoil spring. They went with a double recoil spring design for all Glock models.
Why is the G19 Gen 4 a good choice?
Reliability
Glock is renowned for reliable weapons that work in almost any circumstance, and the Gen 4 is no different. Therefore, the new double recoil spring assembly increases system life by reducing wear and tear on a single spring gun.
Trigger
The standard Glock 19 upper parts kit trigger fits its function very well. So not perfect, but the reliability will get you a steady 5.5-pound trigger pull each time. That is, they are known to clear up over time. So the more you use them, the more they wear out, and your parts get better.
Safety
Safety has ever been a number one feature of Glock pistols. As a result, the Glock 19 upper parts kit is not need to manipulate the violin for external safety in high-stress situations, point and click.
Precise
Consequently, Glock 19 gen 4 mos pistols are very accurate. Therefore, shooting becomes reliable.
Journals
They have steel reinforcement to increase structural integrity. The larger G17 chargers are compatible with the Glock 19 gen 4, as well as other high-capacity offerings.

First Kimber I’ve owned and first non-S&W revolver. I got the 2 inch. Great carry gun, even when just dropped in a pocket. Manageable recoil and great bootgrip for OEM. I added the Kimber/Metro night sights and installed them with a homemade vice block and Brownells brass sight punch, the small one. The front sight on the set I received was predrilled. The only thing I’ve noticed is that the cylinders are bored a bit wide. I’ve seen some case splitting and over expansion, even on 38 Special. I’ve measured spent cases against ones fired in my S&W and can confirm they are expanding to a greater diameter.

I purchased this revolver back in March of 2021. Fast shipping; everything went smoothly through MidwayUSA. I researched it extensively before buying, and so far the gun has met and surpassed expectations. So far, I have put about 100 rounds of .357 magnum (158 grain) through the gun. It has performed flawlessly, and shoots very smooth for both DA and SA. DA is a nice long pull, but I am able to “stack the trigger” with it. SA is a feather trigger, and makes aiming and placing shots a breeze. With full magnum loads it was still very manageable to shoot, even one handed. I was very accurate with the gun once I had got the feel of how it shoots. I was shooting out to 20 yards (free-hand/no rest) and placing shots that would be fatal. With more practice, I expect I could take it out further. The only thing I wanted different were the grips. On a colder and dry day the wood grips get a little slippery. I replaced them with Houge rubber grips, and now I have a solid grip during all conditions. This is my preferred EDC. It is not too hard to conceal, especially inside the waistband. It’s a great little revolver.

I have the older DA only 2 inch version of the K6. It has functioned flawlessly and the recoil is minimal when shooting .38. Accuracy is also very good, even with full power 357 rounds. It is nice to have the extra round in a firearm that is only a bit bigger (but heavier) than a J Frame.

I am a “revolver” guy. Love them. have all sizes and calibers. I have to say, I feel this is one of your best bang for your buck on the ever slimming revolver market. The only thin I added was the Houge grip. Not that I didn’t like the Kimber wood grips. I just want something not as slippery. As this is a MAGNUM class revolver, with MAGNUM rounds it can be brisk to handle. But I wanted a magnum class. I can always load 38spcl. etc.
