This is a great gun I fitted it with a Vortex duel color scope for target practice and it fires straight out the box. It did need gun oil to function better but other than that great.

I really wanted a Model 70 in 280 Rem caliber. I found this one on Midway and having purchased many items from them, I felt comfortable making the purchase, especially since the price was very competitive. Having received the gun, I am very happy with the quality!!!! I can’t wait to shoot it, I’m sure I will still be very happy after I get it sighted in. I am very happy I pulled the trigger on this rifle!

I grew up shooting Winchester’s, although the new Winchester’s can’t compare whit the old ones; but they still have quality and shoot just as fine. Bought the 7mm-08 to add to my collection, nice shooting rifle.

Things were not great at first, there were feeding issues which I have worked out by polishing feed ramp.I’t still does not feed hollow point bullets.Bear creek arsenal said it was not designed to use hanloads, which is crazy being that everything is done on spec measurments. They instead stated to me that they know what to do but did not want to tell me so the question is would I buy another? Questionable

It shoots like a dream no problems and there is a little recoil to it.
